Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Channel One is One of the five national broadcasting teleivision channels in Iran. IRIB 1 has became Iran's first national television Channel which established in 1996. The major shows of this channels are dramas, talk shows and of course iranian movies.
IRIB 2 was established in 1980 which complements to the IRIB 1, the programming of IRIB 1 is often similar to IRIB 2. The major shows of this channels are comedies , talk shows and news broadcast.
IRIB 3 started broadcasting in 1993 and also refer to as the youth channel as there are many programming which dedicated to sports.
IRIB 4 started broadcasting soon after the IRIB 4. The 24-hour a day IRIB 4 channel broadcast more towards to the artistic and academic channel. The major programming are documentaries academic conferences, economic magazines, interviews with scholars in all fields, artistic movies, plays and philosophical discussions. - from Wikipedia
